Northwestern Center for Orthopedics was formed by the merger of two world-renowned orthopedic groups (Medical Associates of Chicago and University Orthopaedic Surgeons) in 1995. The practice dates back to 1912 and has always been located in downtown Chicago. It is affiliated with Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Ann & Robert Lurie Children’s Hospital, Presence Saint Joseph’s Hospital and River North Same-Day Surgery Center.
